City of Graham Seeking Aircraft Maintenance Provider
The City of Graham is seeking a maintenance provider to lease the city hangar (60x100) on the Graham Municipal Airport and provide general aviation maintenance. There are presently 50 plus aircraft based at RPH with expansion in the works. This is a great opportunity for someone to run a maintenance facility on an active airport run by a city that appreciates their airport. I came here 27 years ago and started my business out of this same hangar. I now run a maintenance business out of 2 hangars on the east side of the airport catering to tube and fabric aircraft. Graham is a nice small town that provides a great quality of life. I have raised 3 children here and now 2 grandchildren and I can not think of anywhere else I would want to live or run my business. Anyone interested can view the Request For Proposal in the link and I would be happy to answer any questions I can. Thank you.

I thought yall southerners esscaped the deep freeze that we get up here in the North... it's 1° right now.. thinkin about it.. 17 is much better than 1.. Never thought it got that cold down there though

Not very often, creates havoc on the water pipes. Shut the water off at my hangars and my daughter and her family come to my house for showers cause their shower and kitchen sink froze.

I was in Graham many years ago visiting friends..went out to the airport..I think there was one hanger and the only aircraft there was an open cockpit spray plane that Leland Snow had built…great to see a city that appreciates general aviation.

Great people, excellent choice of BBQ eateries, old fashioned downtown, active churches, great breakfast place .. the Dinner Bell..., hunting and fishing and plenty of knowledge. runway big enough to accommodate larger biz planes.

That’s awesome the City cares about it. At Gainesville, TX where I hanger, there’s more than 51 aircraft but not one shop. Several A&P’s around, but they work privately, mostly on their own stuff. There has been shops there in the past.
