We are thinking about getting a P22-150 and converting it to Tailwheel. Now I have a few questions about the available STCs. And I hope you can help me. I allready read a bunch in the forum but I am still not sure about some things.
What is included in the Univair STC SA45RM ? If you buy just the package with the gearlegs and stuff is all the brake modification stuff allready included in the STC ? Like the toe brake and dual brake conversion ? If the paperwork is included in the STC can you make the toe brake conversion your self or do you have to buy all the parts from univair ? And also if you do the Univair STC and dont want to use the Cleveland wheel and brakes that the STC calls out can you use the Trimmer STC for Wheel and Brakes in addition ?

I also had a look at the Trimmer STC for the Tailwheel conversion and I like it a lot. The gear legs and parts from Alaskan Airframe are reasonably priced but they went completly crazy with the Maule Ole Struts which are requirred. They are now 3500$ for the pack!!! And I am not OK with paying that much for two shock struts !
I would have no problem with the fuselage mods that are requirred for the Trimmer STC since I am just in the progress of building a Pitts S1 from scratch and allready built the complete fuselage for it.

A lot of questions but I hope you guys can help me out !

    kind regards from germany
