fuel tank pin hole repair
One of my tanks has a pin hole near the fuel drain. What are the prefered repair schemes ? weld, 890B1/2 pro seal, click bond ? What would you do ?Photo on 2-3-24 at 10.21 AM.jpgPhoto on 2-3-24 at 10.23 AM.jpg

I have multiple sets of tanks in good shape, but I would guess shipping from AK won't be real cheap.

I would clean out with aluminum etch and then weld a patch out of 5052 aluminum.

If you weld it, I'm assuming you weld the patch to the exterior of the tank?

Yes, have to weld to good clean metal. Welding aluminum, it has the be clean.

If you have a good radiator shop near you they can flush it , weld it and pressure test it
