    Fabulous link for me. As a new owner, the learning curb went way up on how to use the original wing for extras lift without screwing with the original aerodynamics of the aircraft. Have a STC for wing tips. Any suggestions where to buy a wing with metal spars? My plane had the wing stolen but it is the last major part to get it airborne. Almost restored by the previous owner. If I had a cub wing probably would need way more HP to preform. Also need a top overhaul for the Lycoming 320 that doesn’t have engine log books.

    That alone is a bad reason to change the wing. Insurance companies and attorneys broad brush coverage. Pilot skill means nothing? Thanks for the real world

    All Pacers were built with metal spars! if it is a converted TriPacer, the PA-22-150 and -160 had an additional rib in each wing, make sure you match the existing wing as far as number of ribs.

    Got it. And it is converted to a PA-22=150. Any suggestion where to search for a wing. Final piece of the rebuilt

    If it was “converted” to a PA-22-150, it is still either a PA-22 or PA-22-135 just with a 150hp engine! The aircraft is what the data plate says it is. Based on the serial number, you use the parts that were approved for that “model” or serial number. If the engine was changed to a 150hp engine, all the original limitations still apply with regards to weight and airspeeds. Again you need to go by what your data plate says and your registration and airworthiness certificate should match your data plate.
