Default source for cork float coatings (fuel proof-)

Is Deracane 411-350 the material of choice ?

Aircraft spruce shows "no stock" ...... probably only need a pint ------

It looks like it is used also as a structural adhesive for some composite fuselages.... (like glass air ect)

Is there an alternate approved material for coating corks ?

( I have heard lots of opinions from tailwheel people at the airport---- none sound credible---
