    You do understand you are paying for paperwork. It is not unlike an STC. Sure you might be able to get an STC to change the engine in your airplane for example, but that process many times cost more than the STC. Like they say in the movie business, "You can make a movie cheap, or you can make a movie fast, but not both.

    Do you smoke? If not why not just use one of the USB chargers from lonestar or ei? My lighter is coming out, I just talked to Clyde today.

    On the unprotected side of the bus. I just added a USB plug to my own as installed a circuit breaker cause I had room and it was easy.

    Since I have a generator, I use a battery minder to top off the battery after short flights or night flights. My landing and taxi lights drain the battery at approach and taxi RPM. I have a fused harness directly on the battery for quick batt charger connect.
    What do you think of charging the iPad with this device?
