I say keep your tailwheel adjusted right and pressure in it and put the 1k into the gas tanks.

Agreed. Seems kind of gimmicky to me.

Agreed total bandaid for people that do not have a good IA/A&P taking care of the plane. DENNY

Overly engineered for a problem easily fixed with proper tailwheel, spring, and attachment maintenance. It treats the effect of shimmy, not the cause.

I think this is specifically aimed at their Baby Bushwheel tailwheel, which has a bad reputation for shimmy even with well-adjusted spring arches.

    Just my thoughts.

I agree with CamTom12. With a standard Scott 3200 I had my plane all tuned up for no shimmy. I've watched all the vids and followed and followed the setup instructions from ABW. The Baby Bush Wheel shimmies on paved runways. I was told by ABW it would do this, so I knew what I was getting myself into. I do wheel landings to minimize the problem. I still need to play with inflation pressure in the TW to see if that helps. BTW I'm running the glider tire instead of the normal BBW tire. That may have some influence.
I looked at the dampener, but it seems like it might get damaged getting drug through the rocks.
