Re: Installing Steve's Gascolator - helpful hints?
I see in Jim's last post he used hex head bolts instead of phillips screws.
Pro move, I did the same on my Tri-Pacer, that is much easier to secure, with flat and star washers.
I also opened up every fastener and cotter hole by a bit, and the big hole for the gascolator body, to make assembly less verbal.
I fogged the bracket with flat black paint too, not so much as to close the holes up, just a bit to make it look finished.

I have two . I replaced the firewall one in 2019 . Works great ! I replaced my right seat gascolator ( with no screen ) at last annual . No issues with that one either . Great Product .

Re: Steve’s Gascolator
Brian,
I seem to recall that a few years ago you wouldn't sell your Gascolator to customers outside of the USA.
Is that restriction still in place or can a UK based owner of a Permit to Fly category Piper shortwing now purchase from you?
The UK Permit to Fly category is very similar to your "Experimental" category.

Tony,
I have EASA STC 10054221 for the gascolators. That cost me a few grand
As far as other countries, there are still a few I am not approved by their CAA that I do not ship to. Brazil being one. Otherwise, pretty open for export with 8130-3 tag.
