How much lighiter is the alt. over the gen.
Hey Steve, have you had any luck on Field Approval for the Denso yet? I did not see anywhere that anyone had one "in-hand". I am ready to submit my electrical mod for approval and would like to do the Denso alt at the same time.
Thanks,
Lou
No it has been several years, I need to put the paperwork together.
I don't mind getting one going. Could use a few suggestions on what wording would give it the best chance of survival, like "Not approved for IFR"???. Anyone else have any experience with getting one of these approved?
Lou
Here are some some examples on Andy's website. http://home.earthlink.net/~andy2220/id4.html
I can use some of what Homer used.
Thanks.
Lou
Plane power on the Cherokee 6 and clipper. Easy install and paperwork. Zeftronics regulator in the 6 plane power reg in the clipper, the plane power reg is compact and light weight with a inop light included. Couldn't be happier with both setups. The alt in the 6 was one of the first ones with 800 plus hours.
Anyone have any pics of how they mounted their Denso?
