Home for sale on Hoskins Field (44t)
My next door neighbor has moved and his house is for sale. Just thought I would pass this along as I hope the new owners are aviation friendly! Hoskins field is a nice 2000 ft grass runway in Olympia,WA and the home is right next to the runway.

I think I counted 6 days last year.

That's actually the area we've been looking to move to possibly. If I were to find work there and we did move, I'd sure go look at it if it would still be for sale.

Ya Im looking alittle farther north for a airpark home, but Olympia is a nice area.
I mean where else can you fly to Walmart.
Thats not such a bad price for a home at an airport.
As for sunny days, on average we only get 100 cloudy days a year.
When you look at the weather all along the northern boarder W Wash. has the best weather and the most temperate.
East of the mountains all the way to the atlantic ocean hotter and alot colder and alot more snow and wind.
As for beauty it realy is the most beautiful area in the lower 48. Idaho has alot of back country strips and is very beautiful. But it doesent even compare with the Cascades mountains.
Hey Tadpole if you make it out this way we'll have to put together a shortwing flyout to Orcas island to have lunch at Vern's.
I think we can talk Stephen and the others into it.

Id like to find a airpark home or combo hanger/apartment somewhere near Phoenix. Our daughter lives in Mesa. Id be happy on a dirt strip

As long as you don't mind me coming in my Stinson, hehe. At least until I get bored once it's flying and go find a Pacer project.
We have family in Gig Harbor, that's one of the reasons we're looking at moving out that way. Plus moving pretty much anywhere will give me a horsepower increase without upgrading my engine!
