Mine may be newer, but yours is flying. Plus mine is still in boxes in the garage.

Re: SWPC Drawing CDs
If you have a problem with the SWPC Drawing CD I suggest you call Ralph Gutowski. He is a SWPC Technical Advisor and the one who did the Drawing CD. My guess is he is the only one in the Club with the technical expertise to help you download the CD to your PC or trouble shoot other issues with it. He is listed in the front of the Short Wing Piper News with the other Technical Advisors.

The cd was bad and they already sent me a new one. Thanks.

Re: SWPC Drawing CDs
I ordered my CDs exactly a month ago, and have not received them yet. Does it typically take this long?

Log on to www.shortwingpiperclub.org. Select the "Technical" tab ->"Forums". In the header of the page, you will see a statement regarding the problems that currently exist on the website. In that statement is a contact number for SWPC President, Connie Stevens. She seems to be directly involved with the issues of the web site, forums, and SWPC store, and should be able to solve your problem.
The delay is inexcusable, and would never have happened in the past. Please let us know what Ms. Stevens has to say.

I forwarded the above CD problem to the SWP store manager and got the below reply.
Yes I am still running the store. With the web site problems I have not received all the orders. Certainly I regret not assisting our customers in a timely fashion. Who ever has placed an order and has not received it should contact me at swpcefdirector@hotmail.com. I promptly mail any orders that I am aware of. To say the delay is inexcusable, I have no control over system faults. So any delay is regrettable, on my part, but it is beyond my control. I will expedite this party's order as soon as I have the order details.

Re: SWPC Drawing CDs
Larry responded to my inquiry and will presumably get the drawings on their way directly. Thanks for the help!

Larry is a good man who has worked his a$$ off for the SWPC for a long time. He flies a beautiful Clipper, and is a great steward of SWP's.
He is not to blame for the SNAFU on the CD's. He has graciously stayed on to run the store, but since the plundering of what was a great website, he does not get the orders.
On that note, the SWPC CD's are a "must have" for proper maintenance of our SWP's. The $$ generated from their sales goes to fund scholarships for the people who are the future of SWP's.

Re: PA-22/20 Drawings
Newbe here, far from new to classic aircraft. Reviving this thread due to interest in obtaining the drawing CDs. Seems the links are dead and the I could not find info on the simplified word press site.
I have a strong interest in drawings for the wings.
Regards,
Charlie
