Has there been any tubing repair on the fuselage? I had a Super Cub that had never been cut on that I gad to grind the stop tube your elevator horn is resting against for the same issue.

Unrelated I notice that you have extra washers on your jackscrew to pulley install.

    Upside,
How much down travel did you measure?

    Outstanding pictures, BTW

The fuselage has had repairs done, but it is still very straight and everything is in line. I had the same first thought. I don't think the tail angle could have changed much if any but maybe that is the only explanation beyond it was just wrong from the factory.

I am measuring about 8.5 Degrees currently.

I had to grind that down elevator stop on Pacer to get the required down elevator.

How much did you have to grind off, Gibert?

About half way thru that down stop tube. Took me awhile with a burr in an air powered die grinder. I think he had less than the 11” you’ve got. He couldn’t get the nose down far enough to do what he wanted to do.
