Re: Fire extinguisher - Where to put it?
Thanks for that link, Glen. You must be on my wavelength or something -- It's not the "right" part, but only yesterday I was putting some parts away in my "Airplane Stuff" drawer and came across one of those boots. I had completely forgotten about it -- it must have been there for a couple years at least.
Unfortunately, the one I have is Univair 14087-000 and not the pair of parts -- in my post, actually, #12729-026/028 -- in that other thread. I'll get those ordered, BTW. JRyd had some nice photos of his installation.
Here's the one I have: 14087-000 boot.JPG
And you're right, I need to get those bungees covered up.
Walt
EDIT: Bungee boots ordered. The one I have is "Oleo Top Cover Boot".

Re: Fire extinguisher - Where to put it?
Mine is also mounted in this location. Only mishap was the retaining tie (plastic) was broken some how. So, I now have a bag of 100 of them! 🤦🏼*♂️

I like this position because I can easily get to it if I'm in the pilot position, or outside the plane on the ground.
