Default Q on tail light wire in rudder---

I am about to finish repairs to to my rudder----
I am thinking about the light wire---- I would think I dont want it laying loose inside the fabric when I am attaching the fabric--- im thinking that I wouldnt want the wire to get up against the fabric when in=m putting the glue in the fabric.

So im wondering about adding something to attach the wire to ----
was thinking about a welding rod that could get welded end at each end like the rods piper used in the tail feathers----

is there a way this is done ?
I guess I could wait till the fabric is glued on to put in the wire---- fish the wire through-- but it hass to go through the round holes in the rib--- which might be hard to hit going through the light housing-----

Piper taped the wire to the rib before covering the rudder.
