I would like to start working on my own wing strut cuff design and Im wondering if anyone knows where I could find a cross section view of the Piper wing struts?
Just replaced lift struts on our PA22 with struts from Alaska Airframes. They were good enough to let me have a six inch
cut off for shipping and packing expenses. Makes the job of making cuffs much easier. Our effort must have been worthwhile as we were awarded 'Best restored in the Contemporary Class' and Sun N Fun 2012. Most credit is to the original
re-manufacture of N7845D in 2006 by Dave Fancett.
