    Default Lubricating Control Pulleys

I searched the forum for this information, but did not see anything.
What substance seems to be the best for lubing the control pulleys. Not just from the aspect of not attracting dirt, but that will not contaminate the fabric? As care as one tries to be, it is invariable that some will drip onto the fabric, and I don't want to set myself up for problems with a repair down the road.
I have always used LPS-1 as it dries so as to not attract dirt.
Thanks! Sorry for such an elementary question.

    I use LPS2 inside and LPS1 outside. The 1 doesn't streak like the 2.
