    Default Refurbish your old headset

I have found 2 places on the Web that will take your old, beat up headsets and rebuild them like new into wonderful, noise reducing hearing devices. One company will turn your old headset into an ANR. The other company adds earplugs to the headset. I had 2 headsets rebuilt, one at each place. Takes about a week at either place. I am an old turbine engine driver, CH-47, UH1, OH-58 and Cobras and wound up with a 70% High Freq. hearing loss in my left ear. These rebuilt headsets really make a difference. The engine noise has always been a problem for me and I have had to turn the radio and headset volume both up to hear plainly. These headsets really cut out the background noise.

The ANR style rebuild only cost around $ 169.00

The ear plug style rebuild is around $ 100.00

I did the Headsets Inc upgrade myself and have been very happy with it.

I saw something in a mag concerning the CEP product and it looked interesting. Since it uses earplugs it doesn't sound like something you'd want to use on a shared set of headsets as in passengers, etc. I assume the earplugs are easily/inexpensively replaced?
