I put the Casper oil filter adaptor on my Colt, very nice kit and the owner in Florida is very helpful. Be sure and also install the restrictor plate which is required for the 0-235, Casper also has these for sale. I also have the second, right fuel tank for 6+ hours range, dual landing lights, 60 amp alternator, autogas STC, droop tips (no longer available), Wag Aero shoulder harnesses (get the complete kit with STC) - these turned out nice and work well, wheel bearing caps to keep dirt out, new glareshield from this website. My wishlist includes Steve's STC gascolator, Dakota Cub fuel selector, Bogart battery box mod and cables, Rosen sunvisor kit, and sheepskin seat covers. Remember - all it takes is more money!
This is what I use for sun visors and they work fantastic. Stick em anywhere on the windows with the suction cups. I have two and they cover the top of the windscreen pretty good. http://www.sportys.com/Pilotshop/product/9074
I added Retractable Snap Vents above the original vents. One, it gives you more air when it's hot, and two, I can turn them around to suck out smoke if I have an electrical fire.
The bracket that is on the pilot's side air vent will allow you to adjust to any size opening. Also, some vents have worn and will not stay closed. Solves the problem of opening in flight all of a sudden. Bracket comes from Frank Sperandeo Fayetteville, Ark.
I built the adjustable sun visors out of tinted Plexiglas R A M handheld component parts. Clamps on, comes off in seconds, and move the two visors any where needed.
Tom Anderson, SWPC Tech, has an LED light kit that replaces the two cockpit lights. World of difference at night.
cwo4ret, do you have any contact info for Tom Anderson and his LED light kit? Thanks much...........kelliot
