    Default Naugahyde cable seals

I'm recovering the tail feathers of an Aeronca Champ. Where the trim table cables penetrate the elevator I intend to use the Piper Naugahyde cable seals. Polyfiber was unable to give my advice on when and how to apply them. I found this surprising since they're fairly widely used.

Do I put them on bare fabric or after the Polybrush and Polyspray? Cement them with PolyTac or Polybrush?

    Thanks much

on my champ I just used a patch made of fabric. I think that's all that is called out on the print. on my wagabond I used naugahyde with 3m weatherstrip adhesive but over time the edges lifted a little bit.

I put them on with 3M weatherstrip adhesive after painted. Piper glued them on and painted over them.
