Yes, that is a very common paint scheme [factory] for late model tripacers
Bvmbandit's paint is slightly different and earlier [56?] in the white stripe is straight without the swoop at the nose

Here is our 1953 PA-22/20 with a narrow deck O-320. Bought it about a month ago and slowly figuring it all out.

Sorry for the late reply - here are the old (above) and new (below) panels.

    Hi Juergen,

I am located in Anchorage, Alaska but the aircraft is still in Washington state... I've been in remote Alaska for work all summer and will be flying it up in early October. I'll report on the performance when I get some more time in it. I think the new landing gear and the 80" prop have slowed it down in cruise, but the takeoff is quick and the ground handling seems to be better with the wider gear.

    Cheers,

    Peter

I'm not sure what the performance is as it has been waiting patiently in a hangar for me to finish field work this summer. I installed an 80" MTV-15. I had a hartzell CS prop on before which was much heavier. Takeoff performance is fantastic with the CS props. I'm a bit worried about rocks but we got the metal leading edge which should help.

    Cheer,s

    Peter
