Hi,
Supercub page said I wasn't a member, wouldn't load for me. it's probably along the lines of the EAAs announcement.

Re: Basic med is passed
Yeah what's the deal with the "Basic Med" on supercub.org being members only? You'd think outsiders would like to learn more, makes it seem like there's secrets being hidden.
Thats good to hear Juergen! Hope a lot of people get back into flying again.

Re: Basic med is passed
Well so much for the statement made on this site that Doc's won't do Basic Med because of liability. Our local Doctor/Pilot has set up shop on our grass strip doing Basic Med out of his travel trailer; $50.00
Has a nice sign posted on a tree with an arrow pointing to the travel trailer. Made an appointment with him today.

Re: Basic med is passed
My assumption was that doctors who are part of big groups will not be allowed by their "risk managers" to sign it off because it appears to incur liability.
Just my assumption.

Rampil, Are you participating in Basic Med?

Re: Basic med is passed
A DME friend of mine says that his insurance would go up $4k if he does Basic Med. He will stick with Regular Med. I just got a class 3 last fall so I can wait and see.

Re: Basic med is passed
My insurance company said there is no difference in premium costs for basic med.

Same here. Was told BasicMed is the same as any other FAA medical as far as they're concerned.
