Yes, check your parts manual and you will find a lot of the parts are the same between the Colt and the Tri-Pacer, even the Pacer.

Whatever you do, don’t drill any holes in the new struts for the fairings or the door catches!

...Like somebody did to one of my plane's replacements! I might have been able to get away with replacing only three struts, but no... had to get all four! That hole was for the front door catch -- get the wrap-around type. (Sky Catch or similar)

Has anyone replaced the strut fairings on sealed struts? I have been hurting my brain trying to figure out how to do it without drilling.

First thing I'm gonna do is check what I got for any fubars, then fit my cuffs. No way are any holes gonna get drilled!

Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures handy to post but the cuffs for sealed struts wrap around the strut and attach to themselves. Sort of clamping themselves in place.

I did a search and found this thread: http://www.shortwingpipers.org/forum...highlight=Cuff

A thread here on the subject, sorry no pictures. Have just bent the fairing enough to hold but have seen zip ties used as well.

I used a 6-32 binder post on the inside with the threads out and an achorn nut with a nylon washer. No tape or wireties and clean and easy to do, and less than $5 from ACE.
