We are less than 2 weeks away from Sun & Fun 2017 and can hardly wait. My Dad's Clipper should be on the front two rows of Vintage Camping. Map (http://www.flysnf.org/guest-services/maps/) We have a forum scheduled on Thursday April 6th at noon at the Central Florida Aerospace Academy Building just to the east of the main entrance. Usually follow this up with a stroll to the flight line in Vintage to do a Short Wing Piper walk around inspection/discussion on things to look at on the aircraft. Hope to see many of you there.

Steve, Gilbert, and all SnF Shortwingers,

Planning a return to Sun n Fun after a long absence. Flying down from the Atlanta area on Monday 3/3. Please arrange decent weather.
I'll be with an old college buddy (A&P-IA) and his wife from the left coast. With 3 in the ole PA-22/20 we'll have to hotel it; don't think I can haul camping gear for 3. We're leaving on Thursday so will miss the forum...bummer...always benefit from your wisdom at OSH and SWPC Conventions.
I don't think Larry & Julie have ever seen a night airshow (Wed), if you all are getting together then, or other times it would be great to meet up.

Good trip, REID

The last minute rigging adjustment paid off. Feet flat on the floor with a push of the stick every now and then for most of the trip.

Last stop before Sun & Fun was Perry Florida, an old WWII military training field.

Made it into Sun & Fun. My folks are on the front row of Vintage and I got the 3rd.

Meeting lots of interesting people. Met a lady today who bought a Clipper in the US and flew it to Finland. Trying to get here to post about her adventure here.

Pre owner screwed a trim on my rudder, I took it off and I really like it much nicer flying without it, but I have to rest my foot on the left pedal with the tiniest amount of pressure on it, what was your last minute rigging adjustment? I may show up at SnF, would be nice not to have to rest my foot on the L pedal, if I dont the nose wanders right and the ball is about one ball left.

I had the same problem twisted my vertical stabilizer and it corrected it not sure if that's the right procedure though

Push the leading edge of the vertical stabilizer to the right.

Plan to be there early Thursday morning, looking forward to the forum. Was there this past Sunday briefly delivering some campers. It was very dry and dusty, a rain shower to settle that would be nice.
