Did a bit of searching, but didn't find any past posts about the SCS pre-cut flooring. I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with either the SCS pre-cut vinyl or carpet PA22-160 kits? I'll give them a call, but their pictures don't look like they go aft of the rear seat.

Interesting, never heard of them. The vinyl would be good for me.

Looks interesting. Would be very interested in what you find out about them and/or other options. Carpet is on the to-do list and buying a drop-in would certainly move it higher on the actually-get-it-done list.

I have those in my C-175. The previous owner bought the vinyl in dark grey. They sent full size paper pattern to verify the fit. The SCS people are good suppliers.

If I have a few free minutes today, I'll call them to inquire about a paper sample to check fitment. I also have had carpet on the to-do list for few years since I threw out my front carpet from being excessively soaked in brake fluid! The vinyl appeals to me more than carpet and a pre-cut kit would increase my likelihood of checking this off the list.

Isn't there a link in his original post? Or are you looking for something else?

Curious on what the differences might be on fitment for someone with a -20 or a plane with the other engine flavors, toe brakes, bench vs. split front seats etc. I don't own a Pacer yet and tired carpet definitely isn't a deal breaker but knowing a drop-in option or close to it is available would be nice.

Pre-1956 PA20 & PA22 planes have a full-width front bench seat; from 1956 forward the seats moved separately. But the structure on the floor is the same.
Piper or aftermarket toe brakes use the same fittings on the floor as the PA22 without toe brakes.
Engine version should not be a factor.
If you have a rear seat heater (the duct runs below pilot's seat to the outlet box centered between rear of seat base structure) that might make a difference but should be easy to deal with.

I have been in communication with SCS and asked if a group buy or discount for a large type club is possible, and sent them the web address for THIS group.
The nice lady on the email said she does not think they have done group buy but will forward my letter to the bosses. If you are ready to buy now I would suggest you do as its unlikely they are going to move fast on this.

Cheers,
GG
