Placard material / design?

I'm sure their is a reg out there describing what constitutes a placard. i.e material, text size, etc. but I was hoping one of you smart people out there could let me know without me digging.

I have only seen placard text size called out in the Type Certificate Data Sheet and ADs requiring placards. Never seen any regulation calling out anything. I have seen everything from the old clicker label makers to engraved into the instrument panel. Is there a particular placard you are concerned about?

No particular placard in mind. I have 4 that need to be in the panel before the FISDO comes out to look at the airplane and wanted to make sure their wasn't a reg concerning what I could use. I've created some temporary ones (that I plan on replacing with nice alum/phot engraved ones) that should be enough to make them happy. Thanks for the info.
