Has anyone done before and after stall speed checks on a Vagabond with VG's?

Just put them on my PA-15...now it won't stall, just mushes with full ailron control....this is all per Jason as I haven't flown it yet. Had quite a few deferred maintanance items to get right. C'mon out and fly it Dave, I'll buy the first round.

Rodg,
Do you have a GPS available that you could do three directions, 120 degrees apart at max mush speed to give a accurate new
minimum speed? In my experience with Pacers, the lighter the airplane the more pronounced the difference is.
I will take you up on that adult beverage sometime, as I do get to the west coast occasionally.

I agree, the lighter the plane, the bigger the "change". I got 7mph difference with my PA 22/20 150, but 12mph with my PA 22/20 108 which is 150lbs lighter. I imagine the Vag is at least another 150lbs lighter than that. I can't think of a more appropriate plane to put VG's on than a SHORTwing. Jim

I do indeed have a GPS and will do the 3 way avg...
We are still looking for the missing 150 rpm...anybody see which way they went?
