We are painting our fuselage now so I need to order the stencils for our N-numbers. Aerographics has several different fonts and variations available. I was wondering what looks best on a ShortWing (particularly a 22). Pictures would also be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I think it all depends on your paint scheme. The SWPC Drawing CD has some cover drawings showing "N" numbers if I remember correctly. I know I got a drawing from Univair for the Clipper. They were normal block letters. More 50ish looking to me.

Chief Aircraft has what I am looking for. They have the 12" stencils in any font, slanted backward or forward, or no slant. Does anyone know if the $3.50 for the whole N-number or per letter?

Probably per letter/number. You can get a local sign shop to print off some stencils out of vinyl. That is what I used on the Luscombe.
