Took the wife and kid down to Detroit Lakes, MN today for a fly-in that held a lot of promise. True to form, had a nice breakfast, had about 30 airplanes, hundreds of general people, flour bag drop and short field t/o contest and a bunch of general jollity.

Cool. Your breakin' that kid in right. 108 degrees here yesterday. Flew a little in the am and fixed and tailwheel problem but then resorted to working in the air conditioned shop.
