I am putting in a skylight in my TriPacer and then replacing the headliner that was taken out. Do most of you get a kit and do it yourself or do you take it to a shop? My inclination is finding a kit of some sort or even a headliner that someone took out.

well i dont know of any kit , you just buy yourself a new headliner [available at several places] put the bows in it , attach them to their respective spots and start trimming and glueing at the back and work forward not really that bad of a job

Greg,

Airtex makes a nice headliner and if you tell them that you have a Skylight STC they will leave out the forward bow pockets and also give you enough material to fill in the wing root edges.

If you need any more info, call me at 541-826-9729 and I will try and help you out in any way that I can.

Brian.

I have found that for me the cloth headliner was easyer to work with than the vinyl , But I'm no expert and I have used Airtex and like them real well.
