Today when trying to access the forum, Firefox would not allow the site to open. Seems the forum was put on some bad list. I had to disable the security in Firefox just to post this.

Ditto here - using Firefox and got the message - swapped to Google Chrome - no problem.

If it's a "bad site" on Firefox who use Google to provide their information, why is it not blocked on Google Chrome?
Hah! just as I was typing this a Google panel came up listing this as a malware site - so why didn't it come up when I first logged on.
Answer: because Google have got far to big and like many huge organisations, have lost touch with their customers and the dropped the ball on customer service.

All day at work I was on this site with Firefox, not one warning. Come home to Firefox...get the warning. Weird.

SJ has scanned the site and there is no threat. He does this day and night for a large printing company so he knows what he is doing. Google is supposed to scan again in the next 24 hrs. and remove the warning.

It is strange that I get the message when using Firefox but when I switch over to IE it works just fine.

Both Firefox and Chrome use Google service that identifies bad sites. IE uses Microsoft service. I think it is cleaned up, just waiting for google to rescan.

So any idea why Firefox works fine for me at work, but not at home?

Probably a security setting. Check in Firefox under Tool/Options/Security options. Probably have boxes checked (Block Reported Attack Sites) on one and not the other.

There really are times when you get denied of service but the same would happen in any other forum available online, with much of the blame to be given to hosting services which take some load off to function properly.
