I'm reducing the price down to $8,500.00, which will come with the NEW Mags and O/Hed Carb.
I figured that the person that maybe needing a "0" timed O/H engine would have a complete exhaust and baffle sets.
I have receipts that add close to $18k in parts alone.

Just break down the cost of O/H, $1,500 for each Cyl.($6,000.00), Mags $900.00, Carb $1,500, labour $??????? + big big savings.

Now that I see you are in California you have my interest. I have a 0290D2 for my 2+2 project but an overhauled engine with mine as spare might be a great idea. I'm in the High Desert, in Lancaster. I'll PM you about particulars.

Hey, why not run that ad on supercub.org? It is a real bargain, and if I had the spare dough, I'd buy it and hold it for a PA-11 style project. Maybe better raise the price. We once bought a house with a piano and already had one, so we tried to sell it for $75. No one would touch it. Then we doubled the price and they beat the door down. Best of luck. You could also try www.afors.com. It is British, but they like those O-290 engines in Europe. Lots of PA-18/135's there. Also planecheck.com

Engine sold, thxs Steve it was through your site that it was able to sell.

But, I do have another 290D2 eng. for sell. 200TT, 2 new cyls. (35 hrs on those), overhauled mags and carb. ONLY $4,000.00 CDN $$. I have it listed on Barnstormers. Bad news is that it had a prop strike. But I think it would pass an inspection. Call me.
