Hi all

just putting out the word that there will a gathering of Shortwings in Lloydminister AB/SK on July 19 & 20. Examples of Mr.Pipers most beloved airplanes will be coming from Alberta and Saskatchewn and Parts Unknown. All are welcome.....

So many places to fly this year! I didn't realize how busy owning an airplane would make me!

I can't make this one this year, as it is a long flight from BC with 2 hour hops, but I look forward to making a similar event in the future!

Have fun! Fly safe!

Probably the number 1 thing wrong with the Vagabond... No transponder (or electrics of any kind for that matter) so I can't cross the border in it.

I could spend the thousands of dollars needed to install and certify a battery and transponder, but then my useful load goes down.

One day... one day.

have a friend that came down without electrical sys. He got a waiver for the transponder, worked slick.
There's a way to look it up on the internet.

Yes, by car (you know why.) Are you going to make it?

Going to really try, just changed out some of my schedule at work to give me more time to finish off the Pacer. I have the week off before OSH, so it should work out. Unless you want to come up and help...... hint
