View Full Version : Vintage DER?

The Fleet Canuck has run into a snag. The US Type Certificate shows
a C85-12FJ or fuel injected (ExCellO) and the Canadian Type Certificate
has been updated over the years to a Stromberg carb. Not able to find
any documentation to support this.
I'm thinking a Vintage DER could help, but apparently I've honked off the
only one I know.
Anybody else have a contact or idea?
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave

I take it you have this:http://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/saf-sec-sur/2/nico-celn/c_d.aspx?lang=eng&amp%3baprv_num=A-15&amp%3bISU_NUM=5&amp%3bSTART_DATE=1993-02-25&amp%3bAUTH_DESC=&amp%3bDESC=&amp%3bFRGN_NUM=&amp%3baprv_type=TA&amp%3bPARTS_NUM=&amp%3bid_num=932

I'll ask some questions about this to a Transport fella I know. give me a few days

also- isn't there a reciprocal agreement between the US and Canada about type certificates? it's miserable outside so I'll look this evening to see if I can find the Regulation.....

Dave,
don't be discouraged by Terry not getting back to you. I used him last winter on my Vag project and he finally got my paperwork done and complete. He is a very busy guy and many times took quite awhile to get back to me or get something done. He is just busy not only on his small DER business but he also works fulltime (I understand) for a large aviation co).
