Wing hinge fitting
Ciao!
I have a question about TRIPACER wing hinge fitting.
I'm restoring the aircraft, and some mechanics here suggest me that after 60 years these parts must be changed.
The parts are:

In my opionion they are very clean, no rust, no corrosion, and of course no cracks.
The airplane has 3800H , very good maintenance.
Do you have experiences ??
Thank you.
Alex.

Re: Wing hinge fitting
I have rebuilt more Piper wings than I can count, some 70 plus years old and the only issues I have seen with those fittings is when someone drives their airplane through the trees and rips the wings off.

Thank you Steve, probably I did a stupid question, but I prefer ask to people that are more expert than me.
It's common find people that speaks without expertise, this man told me "if you fly with your family you must change it!! It's for your safety".....
I hate this.
Anyway, thank you for your support, I imagine I will ask you a lot..... ;-)

There is well over 4000 hours on my Clipper. I have no concerns about those brackets.

Ok, thank you for your support.
Now I’m cleaning the aluminum wing covers (front), I found some oxidations but not deep, only in surface.
