The ears of those clips are broken off. They are supposed to be bolted to the intake flange casting.

It is suppose to be under the intake bolt not the rocker cover.

I've never had problems with cracking copper primer lines. Mine all use the compression (olive) type fittings, I anneal the lines before installation, use the coil method to jump from mount to engine, and clamp them to the air intake tubes just short of the cylinder fitting.

Luckily I don’t have a crack, just a leak at the fitting on the tee. I will replace the tee and the bracket and hope that fixes the leak.

    Steve,

I need a replacement line for cylinder 2. Are the current SS ones in the Lycoming parts book drop in compatible individually or would I need to change the entire primer line system? My IA is more of a Continental guy, has a Champ and a C-170.

Specifically part LW-12098-0-170 TUBE ASSEMBLY, Primer, cyls. no. 1 & 2

    Thanks!

No, get some 1/8" copper and some new ferrules from the hardware store or a good auto parts store. Different ends.
