FYI there is a guy at consolidated aircraft that can color match if you want a particular shade.

Excellent point. I’m thinking of a stripe on the wing, but keeping the top mostly this color white. I definitely want visibility.

    be warned
it's a $500 fee to colour match. At least that is what we paid last time.....
and I don't think it was because we were Canadian ....lol

There is a fee, it's not $500. Conaircraft.com has their number. Call them and ask. Literally only 12 people work there so they cam hook you up with the right people, and tell you the cost.

Where I live, a white airplane is invisible for half the year !
Plus, the frost never melts off.
I thought about pink flo but it doesn't weather well.

Looks like N6857 has been deregistered.
That's never a good sign, unless it moved out of the country.

Yes, it did. The IA who exported it had issue with my AD compliance on the oil pump. I think he wanted to make some money off the overseas buyers.

A friend of mine had Poly fiber color match the yellow on his '93 PA-18 and there was not extra fee.

I’m thinking of leaving the gear legs and undercarriage white, but adding the typical factory color scheme in CE purple.

The power cord is running a small space heater, to ensure that my airplane is fully dried out.
    Clear skies and smooth air,

I think your nose strut needs some air...As to purple. To each his own. All colors are beautiful in the right combination. Happy New Year!

I agree about the strut, but this discussion would lead to a new topic: how do I get my hand in there? It was last aired up during the Annual prep, and the nose bowl was disconnected. I guess time to search the archives?
