I save the fittings that go into the cylinder and buy the rest from an auto parts store.

Building new primer lines after finding two cracked right at the compression ferrule. Bought the Univar brackets to mount as pictured. Question would or are they better preserved from vibratory wear by silver soldering the tee fitting to the bracket prior to installation?
I’ve deleted the vacuum system for the dual GI275 installation. Ran out of Cat yellow…resorted to Lycoming gray.

No, would be hard to get the line nuts in and connected and I see no point. Solder the AN800-2 ferrules to the end of the lines going into the nozzles like in post 4 and I have seen no more issues.

Well….when the new parts don’t fit the old parts. Make the old parts fit the new parts! The new nuts are 5/16 by 32. The old parts are 5/16 by 20 I believe. So I milled the old nuts to fit the new union cones. 1/4” end mill off set the tail stock 0.006” to bore a flat seat .262” in diameter same as OD of the union cones.

Can someone post pictures of how the lines route? I’ve seen them outboard of intake and exhaust pipes and inboard of the pipes. Which is correct?

Shopmaster. Same thing probably. Designed in the the US, mfg in China…. Great for small parts. I use two mag base micrometers to insure accurate repeats. For big stuff a 1937 Monarch 7-1/2 hp with a 12 foot bed.

I just get the correct nuts, lots of work and probably beyond my skill set. Will post some photos of the primer fittings tomorrow.

    Steve,
I looked for the correct nuts to fit the old style primer fittings on the heads. ACS stocks the new style primer nozzles with the 5/16” by 32 TPI.
Didn’t find them on McMaster-Carr either? I machined 15 nuts to match the cone fittings…I’m happy.

If memory serves me correctly one is available from Spruce and the other from NAPA or my local Ace Hardware.

If only! Takes nearly a month to get parts. Its now a serious pain in the arse! The post office here closed. No postal worker. Mail is 12 1/2 miles distant, across the bay by skiff to Goodnews. Then praying the wind isn’t blowing and the Goodnews post mistress is in the post office when she says will be.
