    Last day at Disney...

This old 190/195 has seen better days.. livening out its life as a static display now.. left gear box is twisted and left wing low...

This is the shelf unit made from the tail of a PA-22...

    Default Andy's Pacer restoration thread...

    Back at it...

    Masked off for interior paint..

    Stewart Systems... light grey..

This pic showed the interior color against the white...

Back into the main shop for assembly...

Installed the floor boards for the last time..

    Flap handle installed..

Installed the park brake valve and started working on brake lines... decided to go with the stainless braided lines throughout and am not going to use the copper lines... just could not get the copper around the aileron cables with good clearance..

I used one of my already made up lines with a 90 fitting to check clearance and like the way it fits, so ordered fittings and will make lines to go directly to the top of the gear legs from the park brake valve..

And now for the big reveal... Andy's new engine arrived...

Those of you that were envious are now jealous...

Brian, beautiful work!!! I don't know if you got the PM I sent you, but Andy told me to ask you if you still had his old firewall. I am looking for one.

    This weeks progress..

Headliner getting pulled up and glued in...

    Glued around the D window..

Glued around the door opening and trim screwed on...

Trimming and glueing in headliner material on the left wing root covering..

    Detail of forward tube cluster..

    Done with this side..

    Starting on the other side..

    Done..

Making a template for cover panels for the back part of skylight opening...

Panels made and fitted... will cover these with the headliner material after I cut out some holes for shoulder harness clamps...

    Landing gear installed...

Brake lines made and installed in the fuselage...

Brake lines for the calipers made and installed..

Bleed the brakes while there is no firewall in the way...

Glued on a Airtex firewall blanket that I had...

    Firewall bolted on...

New engine mount to match the new engine... now maybe someone will get the clue..
