Just finished a three year rebuild on our PA22/20. It is highly modified with the PA18 gear, seaplane doors, O320-B3B, MT prop, sky light, etc, etc.

Very nice build. I would be interested in the performance numbers (climb and cruise) with the 160 HP and constant speed prop. Where are you located? Looks like you are set up for back country flying.

Looks great! I’ve built basically the same thing...used my Borer prop on another Pacer...now considering MT. Which one did you choose? And....what are the performance numbers?

Attended a Fly-In yesterday. Many people asking questions and curious about the Vagabond!

Question? Is it acceptable to copy an airplane paint scheme? I understand that some are designed by graphics or paint scheme designers that generally have rights to the design. I also realize that some designs are standard such as original equipment. I'm talking more about a cool airplane design found on the internet and thinking "Wow, I like that."

I have taken what I like about someone else's paint skeme and then added something to it. Even had the owner send me some specific pictures once.

I'm not an overly creative type. I get a lot of good ideas from looking at other paint schemes and adding a personal touch. When/if I recover and paint 31D I will probably use a lot of inspiration from folks that have posted their aircraft paint schemes....

It’s really nice in a blank canvas sort of way. I’ve got a complete set of wheel pants, but am going to leave them off while I get instruction.
