Uploading attachments

Seems the website won't allow the new(ish) Word documents to be uploaded (*.docx).
Can this be fixed?
If not, not really an issue as one just has to save Word documents in the older format (*.doc).

Hi Tony,

I can enable .docx but unless the document needs to be edited, a PDF is a better alternative - one which everyone can view appreciate. I actually did not know we could even upload .doc files, I must have set that for some reason

New versions of Word in an attempt to protect us from ourselves, has made it difficult sometimes to edit documents without dealing with a few security settings. All because of some old macro viruses that used to be carried by Word files.

No problem with leaving as is. I can upload PDFs no problem.
