Minor tweak request - New Posts button

This is a minor tweak request so if you don't get to it my world will not change. However, it would be nice.

I also subscribe to the "Purple Board" (http://www.purpleboard.net) and they also run off of Vbulletin and are on version 3.7.1 On their board they have and additional "New Posts" clickable button at the bottom of the page AND the same thing at the top. It's very handy also having it at the bottom because as you are reading posts you are usually scrolling to the bottom of the page. On this board I have to scroll back up to the top so I can click "New Posts" to see what else is out there. On the Purple Board I can simply click the extra "New Posts" button that they have located at the bottom of the page. They would have it in the same line at the bottom that contains: Contact Us ShortWingPipers.Org Home Archive Top

Like I said, a minor (on my part) tweak but it might also be a major PIA for you from a programming standpoint. I honestly don't know. Not worth putting a lot of effort but if it's easy to do, it would be nice as I'm lazy.

I use the browsers back button, takes me back to the new posts page. With so many different devices in peoples hands, my route may not suit your needs.

On my screen there is a button at the bottom labeled "top". Push it.

I do like Jim and hit the back button. I do use the Top often as well. Since this is beyond my area of expertise I will forward this on to SJ. Thanks for the heads up.

So this option does not cut it? It can probably be made as a button if that will work, or are you wanting posts since last visit?

Since last visit. Basically a duplicate of the "New Posts" button that's at the top of the page.

Actually I'm not sure the exact logic that the "New Posts" button uses (new since last, all unread, etc) but whatever it uses make the bottom button function the same.

Clicking The back button works some of the time but not always. If you're reading a multi page thread and go to page 2 for instance. Clicking "Top" also works but then you need need to click "New Posts" once you're there. Like I said, I'm lazy.

I think that is doable. I have a huge list of things to do for swpo in the next few weeks, so I will add that to the list.

Add it to the bottom of your list. Not that important in my mind.
