Hello everybody, probably I have an oil leak in my Harrison oil cooler ( I must be check if it is the cooler or the elbow ring...).
In case of replacement, do you suggest me the 8000328 aero classic (found from Univair) or the niagara cam556-643?
In the pictures they seems almost the same thing....

    Thank you.

    Alex.

    Alex,

I prefer Niagara... Reason is I know of several Aero Classic that have split the seams and poured all the oil out.. Never had that with a Niagara.

I have an oil cooler at the hangar. It came with the plane but I don't plan on putting it on the mighty O-235. I'll take a picture and if someone needs it maybe we can work out something. Not sure what brand it is but it has a yellow tag.

Is it an aluminum cooler? or that heavy old stocker? I may be interested if it's one of the lighter ones. I need to put my colt on a diet.

I believe it is aluminum. I thought I had some pictures of it and if I find them I will post them otherwise I'll take some when I get to the hangar this weekend.

Now that we are settling in after Oshkosh, how much do you need to get for that oil cooler?
