It is impressive and far more capable than most people know. A plane ticket to Anchorage is cheap for anyone considering one and should be high on their list. Steve is a great guy and more than willing to answer questions and demonstrate the Producer.

It should be around 1200 lbs. My Bushmaster with 29 BW's is 1170.

I know what can go into the acquisition of an STC. I have more than 5 years and many hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars into and aileron expansion STC proposal to go with the wing mods that increase wing area. But, I have made little progress as each step seems to create more issues. I respect anyone who goes through the STC process.
As a DAR and DER, I see what goes into the development of an STC. One of the companies I work with figures just a “simple” STC will run over $100K. Then once you have an STC, if it requires parts, you need to get PMA on the parts. Unless you can sell hundreds of them, the return on investment just isn’t there.
