    This works well with my battery tender. I wouldn't jump-start with it though.

    Jump strating would require opening up the battery box, unless you wired in a separate connection.

    My battery is on the firewall - I didn't even think about a battery box. Oops!

    Mine too but, I still remember what pita getting to the battery under the seat was.

    Mine is under the seat, and I jump started it last Sunday before I could fly it. It was done in 5 minutes, from popping the seat out of the way, taking the two little wing nuts and the lid off, jumping the airplane, putting the lid back on and getting the seat back in place.

    I was just thinking about adding a solar panel for trickle charging duties......
