They are different than these?

Re: Super Pacer (Bushmaster) Mod
This is the Javron spar butt hinge bracket. It is 1/4 inch but, they also make larger offsets. It sells for $22. I was tempeted to try it on my Bushmaster/SP project but, that might be stretching rules a bit. Plus, I was not excited about losing cruise.

Re: Super Pacer (Bushmaster) Mod
I believe that is where these came from, 3/4" offset.

Re: Super Pacer (Bushmaster) Mod
If I remember correctly, a 1/4" offset increased angle of incidence one degree.

1/4" in 30" is 1/2 degree, 1/2" is a full degree.

Then I wouldn't think a 1/4" would be noticable. Putting more air in your tires might do the same.

Re: Super Pacer (Bushmaster) Mod
Stephen,
Could you please post dimensions on your flaps? Overall length, I/B end to first hinge, center to center on the 3 hinges. Thank you.

I'll get the exact numbers for you. I did use the same inboard flap hinge location from the Pacer wing. The other two locations are very close to the drawings. My Ailerons is made to SC dimensions. I started with the aileron located all the way out, then filled in with as much flap as possible. I tapered the flap inboard to fit closer to the fuselage. I'll get you the measurements.

Re: Super Pacer (Bushmaster) Mod
My flap is 90 1/2" and tapers to 89 3/8"
The first inboard flap hinge is 10 7/8" from spar attachment hole, which is original. Number two is 44 3/8", which is what the plans call for. Number three is 77 3/4", which is 3 inches outboard of the plans but, gives better spacing of hinges on the flap.
The aileron is SC length 102". The first inboard hinge is 109 1/4", 7/8" outboard of the plans. The second hinge is142 1/2", which matches the plans. The third hinge is 172 3/4", which is 3 inches outboard of the plans.
