Jets are fun to fly. You miss the close terrain contact but flying over five times faster than Nolan Ryan could throw a base ball is thrilling, but flying and owning a Pacer is also.

Yes it is a blast. The airplane has a G1000 which is really nice single pilot as it takes a lot of the workload off of the pilot. The airplane hand flies like a dream and is a consistent 340 Knots at 75 GPH at FL410. It really is a time machine.

For low and slow though the Tripacer wins every time. Besides, the Tri Pacer I am restoring is the exact one I learned to fly in 41 years ago so it carries a lot of sentimental value. Hope to have it ready for Oshkosh!

Here are the two in the hangar. Someone HAS to teach me how to "right size" my pictures. I have looked all over the website trying to figure it out but it seems to be beyond my intelligence level . Guess you will just have to stand on your head to see them lol.

It is great you have found the Tri-Pacer you learned to fly years ago. I am fortunate I didn't have to look for the Pacer I got my Private certificate in 1954. Dad bought the Pacer in 1953 and between Dad @ I we have owned N7478K for 64 years this year. I had 16 hours in our 140 Cessna when I went to the Pacer in 1953.
If you fly it to Oshkosh you will fly over Lebanon, Mo. so stop in.
