I would have loaned it. Hope you didn't pay $98.

Moondog’s Academy of the Air, by Pete Fusco. One of the finest books ever written about aviation. If you are a pilot, and especially if you ever tried to make a buck in aviation, this book is for you.

I can’t recommend it highly enough, if you like old airplanes and funny flying stories, do yourself a favor and buy this book.

Border Pilot, a great story about trying to make a living spraying crops in TX. Amazing stories from a very humble guy.

Here is a quick Amazon description:

This is the story of a crop-duster pilot. It tells how he came to follow that trade, and of the life he led along the Texas/Mexico border. It is the story of reckless years spent without plan or caution, and the glories and pitfalls of agricultural flying.

It is an account of how one man used up a few years of his life in that untamed land along the Rio Grande River. A tale of airplanes, and men, and a way of life that is now gone forever.
