    Default Glove Box Radio Tray

Does anyone make a simple box that slides in to a standard radio tray width?

I’m going to have some extra space in the panel after removing the old Loran tray and ADF, so I’m thinking about putting some sort of storage compartment in that space. I could put pens, manuals, etc. in there.
The hole I’ll have is about 3.5” tall.

Seems like you should be able to convert the existing radio tray to this purpose easily enough.

That looks simple enough to build. I figure I might as well take advantage of the unused space.

A friend of mine bought one from Van's Aircraft. Don't know the details, but might check with them.
