Hi Jeter,
How many hours are on that engine, how was it preserved, and what other details about the engine, prop, exhaust, mags and other power plant accessories can you share? Do you have all the logs and paperwork for firewall forward?
I might know someone who is interested.

Engine Prop exhaust mags carb, etc all included.
All paperwork (about 8 - 10 lbs,) STC for 150 hp Crosswind STOL STC etc.
Engine approx 1000 hrs.
Sealed struts, etc as previously listed.
Engine was running and the plan was to recover and fly, but that did not work out.
I will be glad to disassemble the engine for inspection, but then the price changes considerably after the parts are cleaned and inspected.

This is really the case.
I rebuilt this aircraft in 1974-5 to have an aircraft that was like new (and like it would be as a "modern" aircraft at that time.)
You can buy a Pacer for much less than you can rebuild this one, but then you might well be paying the flying price and still be in the market for a full rebuild anyway after the first annual...
Rebuild one and you know exactly what you want.
I have done this once and it was worth the time, money and effort, but at at nearly 71 years of age the equation is a little different.

Re: 1950 original Pacer project for sale N7011K
Where are you located?
The best thing would be to look at the plane, parts and engine.
This airplane has had many very nice mods that have 337's etc and many of the wanted changes for a Pacer that would be difficult to get approved have already been done and approved.
Dual toe brakes engine instruments, panel, wide gear and Cleveland disk brakes, oil cooler.
Prop is good etc.
You cannot buy the parts if you needed than for this price.
As much as I hate to break the plane up I think the only path for me is the part it out, but I would much rather sell it to be rebuilt.
The work is not difficult, but time consuming.
I would redo it myself, but I don;t have a nearby place to work.
