I too got my private ticket in one 1955.
I flew one across the Strait of Gibraltar from Rota Spain to Tangier in the 60s.

Alas I can't even get in one now .

This one is a bunch of 1sts for me.....

    - 1st airplane
    - 1st tailwheel
    - 1st tube and rag

It is a pure joy to fly! It’s what I use to make my Saturday morning biscuit runs....
